Subscription Terms
1. Purpose
These Subscription Terms govern all paid plans and recurring subscriptions for Q Intelligence, operated by Scott Harvey-Whittle trading as SHW Digital Services.
They supplement the Terms of Service and apply to every paid subscription purchased through Q Intelligence.
2. Subscription Plans
Q Intelligence may offer one or more subscription plans, including:
- Free
- Personal
- Professional
- Business
- Enterprise
- Promotional or beta plans
Available features, limits, storage, AI usage allowances, and pricing are described on the Q Intelligence website and may change over time.
3. Billing
Subscriptions are billed through PayPal.
Depending on the selected plan, billing may occur:
- Monthly
- Quarterly
- Annually
All prices are displayed before purchase.
Applicable taxes may be added where required by law.
4. Automatic Renewal
Unless cancelled before the renewal date, subscriptions renew automatically for the same billing period.
Renewal payments are processed using your PayPal billing agreement.
It is your responsibility to cancel before renewal if you do not wish to continue your subscription.
5. Upgrades and Downgrades
You may upgrade or downgrade your subscription where those options are available.
Upgrades
When upgrading:
- additional features may become immediately available;
- a prorated charge may apply where supported.
Downgrades
When downgrading:
- reduced features apply from the next billing cycle unless otherwise stated;
- some stored data or functionality may become unavailable if it exceeds the limits of the new plan.
Users are responsible for exporting any data before a downgrade if required.
6. Free Trials
From time to time, SHW Digital Services may offer:
- free trials;
- introductory offers;
- promotional pricing;
- beta access.
Trial eligibility is determined at our discretion.
We may withdraw or modify promotional offers at any time.
7. Failed Payments
If a payment cannot be collected, we may:
- retry the payment;
- notify you of the failure;
- suspend premium features;
- downgrade your account;
- terminate the subscription after a reasonable period of non-payment.
Access may be restored once payment has been successfully received.
8. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or PayPal subscription management.
Unless otherwise required by law:
- cancellation prevents future renewals;
- access continues until the end of the current paid billing period;
- unused time is generally not refunded.
Refund eligibility is governed by the Refund & Cancellation Policy.
9. Price Changes
We may revise subscription pricing from time to time.
Where reasonably practicable, existing subscribers will receive advance notice before revised pricing takes effect.
Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated pricing.
10. Feature Changes
We may:
- introduce new features;
- retire existing functionality;
- change usage limits;
- modify storage allocations;
- replace third-party integrations;
- improve platform capabilities.
Subscription plans may evolve as the Service develops.
11. Enterprise Customers
Enterprise agreements may include additional contractual terms covering:
- invoicing;
- service levels;
- support;
- security requirements;
- procurement obligations;
- negotiated pricing.
Where an enterprise agreement conflicts with these Subscription Terms, the enterprise agreement prevails for that customer.
12. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate a subscription where:
- payment remains outstanding;
- fraud is suspected;
- these Terms are breached;
- use presents a security risk;
- required by law.
Termination does not affect outstanding payment obligations or accrued rights.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Subscription Terms to reflect:
- pricing changes;
- legal requirements;
- operational improvements;
- new subscription models;
- payment provider changes.
Material updates will be communicated where appropriate.

Accessibility of news, tutorials and AI replies
News updates are grouped beneath a news heading. Help Videos have descriptive titles, native playback controls for uploads, and a numbered list of written steps. Hosted video links identify that they open another website. Administrators should add accurate captions in the video file or through the external video host and make the written steps a useful text alternative; Q does not automatically generate captions or transcripts. Accessibility of external hosts depends on that provider.
AI replies use semantic headings, lists, tables and code formatting instead of exposing Markdown syntax. These changes do not represent an accessibility certification. Report an inaccessible tutorial through the Help centre contact form.
